 County School Board Trustee Beverly A. Foster is considered by many, to be one of the most sincere and compassionate community leaders and activists in the entire San Joaquin Valley.
First Elected to the S.J.C. Board of Education in 1990. She was re-elected in 1996 to the position and again in 2002. Mrs. Foster represents Area 3, which includes parts of Manteca and Stockton Unified School Districts.
Representative Foster has been involved in numerous service and oversight organizations including: The Stockton Transit Board, The Stockton Crime Commission, The Stockton Community Redevelopment Board, and The Fairview Terrace/Seven Oaks Neighborhood Commission. Representative Foster presently serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Salvation Army and Blue Cross of California. Representative Foster also acts as one of the providers for the California State Parole here in Stockton, California.
